Gund: Lolly Giraffe {Review}

Look! It's baby's first toy!

Meet Lolly the Giraffe from Gund. Isn't she cute!? :) 

She is so incredibly soft and snuggly - I might not be able to share.... 

See the little key on her back? When you wind it, she plays a lullaby ("Hush, Little Baby") in a sweet little dinging tone. My boys are fascinated by it because she doesn't need batteries to work! While the music plays, Lolly's head bobs slowly.

Compared to many of the toys available today, I've found this cute, sweet giraffe a breath of fresh air. While still being a sensory experience for both sound and sight - it's not abrasive with flashing colours or lights, or excessively loud-playing music. Lolly plays softly, and fades out quietly. 

This toy will make a perfect companion to our upcoming wee one. Since we don't yet know the gender, I love how she's a nice, pale yellow - perfect for either. Everything seems perfectly baby safe (even the key) and I feel confident giving it to an infant will be no problem.
